The Alaska Mental
Health Trust Authority's Small Projects Funding program is designed to create new services of
direct benefit to Trust beneficiaries.
These services are not normally funded by another part of government.
They can be
innovative, new program ideas, or substantially improve and
supplement existing activities. They can
also significantly increase the quality of ongoing projects. Each small project is limited to a maximum of
$10,000. The intent is to spend
half of the Small Projects Fund ($250,000 yearly) on
high quality rural projects.

The Center for Mental Health Services is accepting applications for its Statewide Consumer Networks Grant
Program. The grants provide
funds to increase the capacity of mental health and/or substance abuse service
systems to support programs and services.
The purpose of the program is to enhance State capacity and
infrastructure to be consumer-centered and targeted toward recovery. The program is also consumer-driven by
promoting the use of consumers as agents of transformation. The deadline is February 25. For more information, contact Risa Fox at

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is accepting applications for its Executive Nurse Fellows
Program. The program offers
leadership development for nurses who have senior roles in health services,
public health, and nursing education, and who aspire to help shape health care
system policy. The three-year fellowships
offer participants the experiences, insights, competencies,
and skills necessary for executive leadership positions in a health care system
undergoing unprecedented change. The

The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust provides funding in a variety of areas including health and human
services. They fund projects and

Totem Ocean Trailer Express (TOTE) supports nonprofit organizations in the areas health, education,
