The State Division of
Behavioral Health is soliciting
proposals for its Consolidated Peer and Family Support Services Program. The services sought are for an education and
leadership conference for consumers and families; a statewide support network
for infrastructure and capacity building; and other consumer supported

The Center for Mental
Health Services is requesting
applications for cooperative agreements for the Comprehensive Community
Mental Health Services Program for Children and Families. The goal of the program is to provide mental
health services for children and adolescents with serious emotional
disturbance. Services are also available
for their families. Approximately $5
million is available. He deadline is

The Robert Wood
Johnson Foundation is seeking
letters of intent to submit nominations for its Community Health Leadership
Program. The program honors 10
people annually for their efforts to create or improve health care programs
that serve communities with ignored or unmet needs. Each leader receives a $15,000 personal

The MetLife
Foundation supports
organizations that focus on health promotion and education initiatives,
substance abuse prevention, youth health and fitness, healthy aging and

The Alaska Railroad supports nonprofit organizations and communities
that are located along the railbelt. It

The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority's Small Projects Funding program is
designed to create new services of direct benefit to Trust beneficiaries. These services are not normally funded by
another part of government. They can be
innovative, new program ideas, or substantially improve and
supplement existing activities. They can
also significantly increase the quality of ongoing projects. Each small project is limited to a maximum of
$10,000. The intent is to spend
half of the Small Projects Fund ($250,000 yearly) on good rural
projects.
