Mental Health Stakeholders:

The Alaska Mental Health Board will meet September 19-21, 2002 at the Bristol Inn in Dillingham with trips to several other communities.  Please see the draft meeting agenda for details (also online at www.amhb.org).  Meeting highlights will include:

¨      Tours of Dillingham programs on the afternoon of September 19 and during the day on September 20.

¨      Lunch with the Executive Committee of the Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation on Friday September 19.

¨      The Board will divide into groups to tour programs in the communities of Togiak, New Stuyahok, Manokotak, Ekwok, and possibly Aleknagik on Friday, September 20.

¨      Board committees will address the development of the FY 2004-08 strategic mental health plan and public education issues.

The Board encourages and appreciates your interest in Alaska’s mental health system and your involvement in the key issues facing the system.
